What's new

The latest across the Updrone platform.

  1. July 2026

    The API grew hands

The public API went from 17 endpoints to 90 — leads, customers, deals, projects, capture and processing, 3D scenes, proposals, invoices, client pages and exports. Every one is declared in one registry that also emits the OpenAPI document, the LLM tool manifest and the per-token capabilities answer, so the contract cannot drift from the code.

  2. July 2026

Consequential calls now pause and explain

Sending a proposal, issuing an invoice or sealing a design answers with a confirmation request first — carrying a sentence naming who is about to be emailed and for how much — and is performed only when that token is echoed back. Underneath sits a separate hourly ceiling on what can leave the system at all: emails, charges, publishes and metered compute, counted apart from the request limit.

  3. May 2026

    Vertical deliverable packs

A framework so each vertical ships its own deliverables instead of a one-size-fits-all export. Roofing is the first pack; construction follow on the same rails.

  4. April 2026

    SPZ scene codec

An in-house Gaussian-splat codec that cuts scene file sizes by roughly 90%. Scenes load faster in the viewer and cost far less to store and share.

  5. February 2026

    Payments wired to jobs

Deposit and balance invoices tie directly to a job and its proposal, settled on Stripe. Accepting a proposal spins up the deposit, and the money stays attached to the work.

  6. January 2026

    Embeddable 3D scene viewer

One viewer, reused everywhere — inside scenes, embedded in proposals, and on hosted client shares. The same scene renders the same way wherever your customer opens it.
